Plumstead Hall Farmhouse is a dog friendly bed and breakfast run by Emma & Percy, originally from Africa and London respectively. The atmosphere is very much informal and relaxed with the gentle buzz of a family and two friendly dogs. Guests are welcome to bring well behaved dogs but hens and cockerels can be found scratching around free range so no chicken killers!

“Where to begin? Our stay here in North Norfolk was pretty much perfect. We were looking for a cozy, out-of-the-way place to get some deep rest and relaxation, and we certainly found it. Our bedroom was gorgeous, incredibly welcoming and with quite possibly the most comfortable bed ever. Babies don’t sleep this soundly. All the little amenities were there, including yummy shortbread biscuits, tea and coffee. We had our own gigantic bathroom right across the hall, and downstairs a small kitchen area that was very sunny in the morning. Perfect place to have breakfast before setting out. The B&B is very near both coastal areas and countryside, and there are loads of great local places to eat. Which brings me to the real treat here: our hosts. Percy and Emma are some of the loveliest and most genuine people you’ll meet; it was so lucky to have booked this place. Not only do they know many, many great things to do and places to eat around the region, but they are sincerely interesting people. Very generous, very engaging to chat with, and overall just very welcoming. Their kids are sweet, and the dogs are fantastic. This family made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to go back!”
